My new home

Hello! I hope that everyone has had a good and safe week. Mine has been pretty good. My job continues to get better, I think because we are getting busier and busier. We had been pretty slow, too slow. Sales are down 25% from where they were a year ago. Thats very scary, and who knows if it will get better. I think things will be OK from now through the holidays, but then it's going to get bad again. As someone that was just hired, and not very far on the totem pole, I don't feel completely secure. But I am glad that we are getting busy and I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things shake up.

I've had a pretty good weekend so far. I took advanta
ge of happy hour w/ a few friends last night after work, went to a cool place in downtown Dallas. Then today I've been to the store, went for a walk, cleaned around the apartment (not that there's much to clean), and then to dinner at Razoo's w/ some friends. Watched Oklahoma completely stomp all over Texas Tech tonight in football...it was pretty sad.

Here are a few pictures:

This is my living room...you can see my chair, and the crate I put my feet up on...and that's about it

This is my bedroom
This is my kitchen, looking in from the living room
This is my balcony, kind of hard to tell, it was night when I took this
This is more of the living room, and part of the kitchen

A creek and some of the development by my apartment
It's really pretty around my apartment
Centreport Station - the area where I live, but also an actual train station; the Trinity Rail Express connects Fort Worth and Dallas. I used to take it to work when I lived in Arlington and worked near downtown Dallas. Joe Biden is not the only one using a train everyday...

That is not a creek. It is part of the Trinity River. But don't tell anyone in Arkansas that Texas rivers are no larger than creeks.
