My new home

So I've moved...again. Yes, I know I move a lot...maybe this will be the last one for a while! If you do not have my new address and want it, please e-mail or call me.

I decided to move over the course of a week - I thought this would give me lots of time, I could move everything on my own (except the big stuff), be in no rush, and I could unpack as I moved. BIG MISTAKE. I had belongings at both apartments; everything seemed messy and unorganized; I would be at the new place and need something which was at the old place, and vice versa. But through my mistake, I learned to just move as quick as possible and get it all done...so when I move again in a few months (smile) I'll do that.

As of today, I am now and official resident of Fort Worth - 76104. I live in the Near Southside community, aka the medical district just south of downtown. Now when you typically think of medical districts....they aren't the newest or nicest, and that is definitely true of this area. I like to think of it is a historical area. Infact, my apartment community stands on the grounds of 2 former schools - Parker Middle School and Hogg Elementary School, and a gym. The 3 buildings were remodeled to apartments and lofts. I have a wonderful apartment that faces west where I can overlook the neighborhood and see the western Fort Worth horizon. There are lots of exciting things happening right now and I'll be sharing more about those things soon, but moving here was the first step and I'm very happy to be here!

Here a few pictures of the apartment and area. I plan on taking lots of pictures of the community soon.
